Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and commercial documentation systems.
Responsibilities & Context
Handle all commercial activities related to garment export orders, including export documentation, shipment coordination, and payment follow-up.
Prepare, review, and process export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, EXP forms, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and other required documents.
Monitor shipment schedules, vessel bookings, cargo handover, customs clearance, and timely submission of shipping documents.
Follow up on export proceeds realization, bank negotiation, payment collection, and settlement of outstanding commercial transactions.
Verify and coordinate buyer-specific shipping and documentation requirements to avoid discrepancies, delays, and financial risks.
Maintain accurate records of export shipments, LCs, bank transactions, customs documents, and other commercial activities.
Coordinate with merchandising, production, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure on-time shipment and smooth order execution.
Monitor document discrepancies, shipment delays, and other commercial issues and take prompt corrective action.
Prepare shipment status reports, export realization reports, and other commercial statements for management review.
Maintain effective communication with international buyers and their nominated agents regarding shipment and documentation matters.
Ensure proper filing, documentation control, and compliance with internal company procedures and audit requirements.
