∎ Bachelor’s degree preferred. A degree in environmental studies or engineering or related field preferred.

∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure that sustainability goals of Centro are met by development and execution of Sustainability strategy, policies, standards and programs.
∎ Accountable to achieve sustainability targets including energy, water, waste, chemicals achieve this by working with key stakeholders (suppliers & buyers).
∎ Analyze sustainability data reporting and global benchmarking. Analyzing and monitoring sustainable areas like natural resource usage and recycling, educating people on the importance of sustainability initiatives,
∎ Ensure buyer compliance requirements for sustainability are met through a systematic approach to improve performance.
∎ Study technical solutions for any sustainable initiatives / requirement.
∎ Develop innovative approaches to organizational sustainability challenges.
∎ Updated knowledge on sustainable product and product sourcing.
∎ Work with external and internal contacts to ensure the sustainability strategy is being implemented.
∎ Measure your company's sustainability performance: It is crucial to keep track of what you are doing to make your company more sustainable.
∎ Structure partnerships and development agreements with key technology partners
∎ Collaborate with vendors to unlock “state of the art” opportunities for sustainable innovation.
∎ Prioritize sustainable innovation search initiatives in accordance with enterprise goals. Measure and monitor progress against product sustainability strategies, objectives and performance targets.
∎ Any other function as and when assigned by Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicant should possess 4 plus years of field or relevant business experience where a solid understanding of sustainability work in the apparel sector.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Liaison Office (Retailer / Brand)
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking, ability to collaborate, and project management abilities.
∎ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with fluency in English
∎ Demonstrable knowledge and experience of different sustainability standards, assurance models and sustainable product sourcing.
∎ Ability to make timely decisions and have a bias for action and speed.
∎ Self-starter, flexibility, and a team player.
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and experienced in taking initiative and making decisive yet appropriate decisions.
∎ Excellent project management skills: Manage timelines clearly and proactively with team and key partners to insure on-time execution.
∎ Possess creative talent.
