Job Responsibilities:
∎ CIVIL AND STEEL WORK SUPERVISION - Oversee and manage the execution of civil and steel works on the construction site. Ensure compliance with approved designs, safety regulations and quality standards.
∎ QUALITY CONTROL - Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the construction work meets the required specifications and industry standards.
∎ COORDINATE WITH ENGINEERS/DESIGNERS - Collaborate with project engineers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of information and address any technical issues that during the project.
∎ GOODS CHECKING AND PROCUREMENT - Verify the quality and quantity of construction materials delivered to the site and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials.
∎ REPORT WRITING - Prepare detailed progress reports, work completion reports and any other required documentation to keep stakeholders informed about the project status.
∎ SAFETY COMPLIANCE - Promote a culture of safety on construction sites, enforce safety guideline and take appropriate action to address any safety concerns.
∎ TIME MANAGEMENT- Efficiently manage construction timelines and schedules, ensuring that milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.
∎ PROBLEM SOLVING - Identify potential challenges or roadblocks during the construction process and work proactively to find solutions that maintain project progress.
∎ TEAM LEADERSHIP Lead and motivate construction teams to ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.
∎ PROJECT REPORTING Provide regular updates to the manager regarding project progress, issues and any required support and traveling to multiple sites as required.
∎ PROJECT HANDOVER- Facilitate the smooth handover of completed projects, ensuring all necessary documentation as built drawing and relevant information are provided to the client and reporting supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
∎ Proven experience as a project supervisor in the construction industry, with a focus on civil and steel works.
∎ Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and quality standards.
∎ Experience in a leadership role recommended.
∎ Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders effectively.
∎ Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
∎ Ability to keep track of multiple projects.
∎ Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
∎ Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
∎ Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
∎ Knowledge of local codes, regulations and safety guidelines.
