Strong understanding of the wholesale medicine supply chain and local pharmaceutical market in Bangladesh.
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate Android mobile applications (app requires Android 7.0 and up).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bangla.
Willingness to travel locally to conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective wholesale partners.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities:
Identify, approach, and successfully onboard licensed wholesale medicine suppliers and distributors onto the Oushodh platform.
Demonstrate the app's value proposition to suppliers, showing how the platform allows pharmacies to browse large catalogues by brand or generic name and compare wholesale prices.
Guide new suppliers through setting up their organization profiles and completing the mandatory KYC verification process.
Train suppliers on using the app's internal dashboard to effectively manage their orders, track stock, handle cash, and assign deliverymen.
Educate suppliers on platform policies, specifically clarifying that Oushodh does not process payments; buyers and sellers arrange payments directly via bank transfer, mobile financial services, or cash on delivery.
Showcase key features like the in-app chat, explaining how suppliers can use it to confirm stock, pricing, and delivery details directly with buyers.
Clearly communicate that the platform is restricted strictly to verified, licensed businesses and does not sell to the general public.
