Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or equivalent degree from a recognised University preferably in social science or development studies or any related discipline.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with the municipality authority at ward level to mobilise support for basic WASH services including O&M, emergency response and livelihood supports.
∎ Organise/mobilise community groups and CBOs to identify service needs and locations for providing community-based WASH services.
∎ Assess and identify priority slums and households as direct beneficiary for project support with hardware and software activities.
∎ Identify context specific WASH needs and technology to be applicable to serve the urban poor in low-income community particularly climate migrants.
∎ Link women groups and ultra-poor households with government safety net programmes and other support schemes available from municipality.
∎ Building awareness and capacity of the women groups and CBOs for strengthening their voice to negotiate with service providers to solve their problems at slums.
∎ Conduct hygiene sessions and organize social awareness campaigns including awareness on COVID-19 pandemic.
∎ Support slum dwellers with vaccine registration for COVID-19 and help registered population (who already registered) to complete vaccination.
∎ Coordinate closely with project operational team to support implementation of all project activities; and with local leaders for extension of city services in the slums.
∎ Conduct baseline and endline survey as applicable (mainly data collection) and report on output level progress for donor reporting.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge on group formation, group meeting, social mobilisation, climate change impact, water, sanitation and hygiene, team building, and training is needed. Good communication skills and experience to work with local government agency, specially municipality is desirable.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 15892 (Monthly)
∎ Salary Consolidated including festival bonus. Others benefits will be as per Organization policy and budget provision.
