Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure that SRH services and practices are in line with national recommended guidelines and treatment protocols and consistent with international humanitarian standards and best practices
∎ Support the CHW team in community mobilization activities and implement appropriate BCC approaches to create demand for RH services
∎ Facilitate and coordinate capacity building through regular training for staff, especially midwives, clinical skill building, supervision, and client-provider interaction, among others.
∎ Support the continuous quality improvement of Primary Health Care Centers’ integrated SRH service delivery in clinical and community-based settings.
∎ Assist with developing guidelines for healthcare facilities appropriate SRH components are implemented in line with the minimum essential service package.
∎ In collaboration with the Medical Coordinator and various leads, develop training plans and support their implementation through direct implementation via training, mentorship, and or support from other organizations.
∎ Review and disseminate key best practice guidelines documents and provide individual support to health facility staff for implementation.
∎ Ensure that SRH commodities, equipment, and supplies are available promptly and regularly monitored through the identification of gaps as per the need of each health facility.
∎ Contribute to developing guidelines and protocols for SRH interventions, including roll-out at the field level to achieve the highest program quality.
∎ Oversee routine SRH data collection at health facilities utilizing data collected via facility-based registers and data collection tools.
∎ Analyze and review data with clinical staff highlighting areas where services are improving and providing support where services are lagging.
∎ Contribute to revising SRH data collection and reporting tools that complement JRRP, SRH sub-sector, and health sector requirements.
∎ Contribute to proposal development to strengthen the SRH component of Primary Health Care, as may be required.
∎ Establish partnerships with organizations implementing SRH interventions for comprehensive service delivery, improvement, and lessons learned sharing.
∎ In consultation with the Medical Coordinator, participate in internal and external technical meetings/working groups to contribute to global learning on RH, share successes and challenges in the implementation of RH.
∎ Models’ leadership to all staff, coaching and mentoring vital direct reports.
∎ Ensures the proper orientation, training, development, and care of direct reports.
∎ Provide leadership and people management expertise in managing change initiatives within the country, bridging different ways of working and diverse working cultures within the teams. Other duties as assigned
∎ The Sexual Reproductive Health officer is the key technical person at the field level for JRRP Reproductive Health interventions to meet the comprehensive reproductive health care needs in Kutupalong Rohingya Camp through capacity building of staff at the health facilities and community health workers, as may be required. Technical assistance will be provided by selecting up-to-date guidance documents appropriate for the humanitarian setting, developing additional guidance documents as needed, and supporting capacity-building efforts for SRH interventions within the organization.
