Job Context:
∎ Sachetan Society (a non-govt. development organizations) is implementing Gold Star Member (GSM) initiatives under Community Mobilization Program with financial and technical support of Social Marketing Company (SMC) in 23 Upazilas of Natore, Bogura, Siraganj, Rangpur, Jashore, Kushtia, Gaibandha, Joypurhat, Naogaon and Dinajpur districts with a view to promote adoption of healthy behaviors of targeted population and to create demand for products and ensure easy availability of quality health, nutrition and family planning services. To expand of this program in 3 upazila (Panchbibi, Dhamurhat & Birampur) under Joypurhat, Naogaon and Dinajpur District, Sachetan Society seeks talented and aspiring candidates who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of the project.
∎ Job Purpose: The Community Mobilization Officer (CMO) will be based at field level under Upazila office and will work at community levels. They will conduct the community level group meetings and IPC sessions to the target audiences. The Community Mobilization Officer (CMO) will also be responsible to select GSM as per guidelines, provide capacity building to the GSMs and maintain regular communication to run their business with the SMC health and family planning products as a whole. The Community Mobilization Officer (CMO) will collect the requirement of the products of the GSMs under her jurisdiction and supplies those as per their requisition. The Community Mobilization Officer (CMO) will provide necessary support to the GSMs for product detailing, household visit, sales and report preparation. The CM will provide in organizing to implement other community mobilization activities under her area.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare monthly work plan.
∎ GSM Selection & Update GSM profile, GSM capacity building, GSM motivation, search new GSM and fill up vacant position
∎ MWRA, Caregivers session, Advocacy meeting, IPC with newlywed couple, HHs visit, Arrange adolescent health session at School, College and Madrasha.
∎ Product sale by GSM following sales guide line, Support to GSM for product sale.
∎ Disseminate communication messages with community.
∎ Stock register maintain
∎ Monthly & quarterly report preparation
∎ Perform the GSM monthly meeting
∎ Prepare case study
∎ Daily Report (note book)
∎ Activity documentation
∎ Meeting with SMC/teacher
∎ Maintain movement/attendance register
∎ GO-NGO coordination at Union level
∎ BCC materials distribution to GSM and effective use.
∎ Sales analysis on product wise of all GSM based on MPDTR.
∎ Collect product requisition and ensure product supply if and when necessary.
∎ Increase knowledge on program and product.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Relevant experience will be preferred
∎ Applicants with relevant experience in other health programs will be given preference.
∎ Age may be relaxed for the extra ordinary candidates
∎ Excellent people management skills
∎ Proactive and communication skills
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small group
