2–5 years of relevant experience in garments accessories sourcing/procurement.
Good knowledge of garments accessories.Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Supplier relationship management capability.
Strong coordination and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context
Source and develop suppliers for garments accessories as per production and merchandising requirements.
Collect quotations from suppliers and prepare price comparison statements.
Follow up with suppliers for price, samples, quality, production and delivery.
Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, Store, Quality and Commercial departments.
Handle sourcing of labels, tags, buttons, zippers, elastic, tapes, polybags, cartons and other accessories.
Maintain supplier database, quotation records, purchase orders and sourcing documents.
Negotiate prices and delivery schedules with suppliers under management guidelines.
Monitor accessories delivery to ensure timely production support.
Follow up on quality issues and coordinate with suppliers for corrective action.
Identify new suppliers and alternative sources to ensure competitive pricing and smooth supply.
Prepare regular sourcing and supplier follow-up reports for management.
Perform any other sourcing-related tasks assigned by management.
