Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily transportation schedules, vehicle allocation, and driver assignments.
Monitor vehicle movement, trip schedules, fuel consumption, and mileage.
Ensure timely transportation of employees, goods, and materials as required.
Maintain vehicle documents, registration, fitness certificates, tax tokens, insurance, and other necessary records.
Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and emergency repairs.
Monitor driver attendance, performance, discipline, and compliance with traffic rules and company policies.
Maintain records of fuel expenses, repair costs, trip logs, and transportation expenses.
Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and operated safely.
Communicate with drivers, departments, vendors, and management to resolve transportation-related issues.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport reports.
Ensure compliance with company transport policies and applicable government regulations.
Perform other transportation-related duties assigned by management.
