Educational Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a relevant discipline.

- Professional certifications in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or International Trade will be an advantage

Badal And Company is looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented professional for the position of General Manager (GM) – Freight Forwarding. The selected candidate will be responsible for independently leading and managing the company's complete Freight Forwarding operations, including Export, Import, International Logistics, Shipping, Customs Coordination, and overall business development.

The ideal candidate must have extensive industry experience, strong operational knowledge, established business relationships, and proven leadership capabilities in the Freight Forwarding industry.

1. Lead and oversee all Export and Import operations, ensuring smooth and timely execution.

2. Manage end-to-end Freight Forwarding operations, including Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), and related logistics services.

3. Supervise export documentation, import documentation, customs clearance, shipping, and delivery processes.

4. Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, C&F agents, customs authorities, and corporate clients.

5. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and relevant documentation requirements.

6. Develop new business opportunities and expand the company's Freight Forwarding client portfolio.

7. Prepare competitive quotations, negotiate rates with carriers and agents, and ensure profitable business operations.

8. Monitor operational costs, revenue, profitability, and departmental performance.

9. Lead, supervise, and develop the Freight Forwarding team to achieve operational and business targets.

10. Resolve operational challenges, shipment delays, documentation issues, and customer complaints.

11. Develop strategic business plans to grow the Freight Forwarding division.

12. Report business performance, operational updates, and strategic recommendations to Top Management.
