Senior Executive, Accounts & Finance

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

Practical experience in VAT, TAX, TDS, VDS, and statutory compliance in Bangladesh.

Experience in project-based accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Previous experience in consultancy firms, development projects, or professional service organizations will be an added advantage.

Maintain and manage daily accounting activities, including financial transactions, vouchers, ledgers, cash books, and bank records.

Prepare financial statements, management reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and financial forecasts.

Prepare and maintain project-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, ensuring accurate allocation and tracking of project expenditures, depreciation, direct and indirect costs, and relevant cost heads to assess project profitability and financial performance.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, bill processing, payment tracking, and client payment follow-ups.

Ensure compliance with applicable VAT, TAX, TDS, VDS, and other financial regulations, including the preparation and submission of relevant returns and documentation.

Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and maintain accurate records of banking transactions.

Prepare and monitor project-wise budgets, expenditures, financial statements, and profitability reports for consultancy projects.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, clients, and relevant government authorities regarding financial matters.

Process payroll, employee benefits, reimbursements, consultant payments, and other financial obligations accurately and on time.

Maintain organized financial documentation, support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.

Assist management in financial planning, cost control, financial analysis, and improving accounting and financial management systems.
