Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation in any discipline/ Diploma in nursing or midwifery from reputed institution. Minimum 01-year relevant experience in Nutrition Programme at camp context.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-political, Bangladeshi organization under its Health & Nutrition program providing lifesaving health & nutrition support to the FDMN Rohinga people of Cox`s Bazar.
∎ As part of its Health & Nutrition interventions in support with UNHCR & WFP, SARPV is implementing Integrated nutrition interventions to address malnutrition among Rohingya refugees.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assignment:
∎ The counsellor is responsible for IYCF/CMAMI (counselling of pregnant mothers and caregivers of children 0-23 months in the project areas. It will be her responsibility to provide age and case-specific counselling and referral for the targeted area that impacts the lives of the vulnerable and has a lasting positive impact. She will play a vital role to bring change in the care practices in terms of IYCF/E. She will lead the rapid assessment of IYCF/C-MAMI and conduct the full assessment according to the standard protocol and format. She will also play key role in management of Non-Breastfed Child and ensure an organized referral pathway INF, SC and health post.
∎ Major Responsibilities:
∎ Provide effective counselling to beneficiaries so that they can make positive changes to their infant feeding practices with the minimum resources when necessary.
∎ Capacitate and support volunteers to conduct the rapid screening and identification of mothers with children 0-23 months with breastfeeding difficulties and non-breastfed infants.
∎ Counselling mothers and caretakers to ensure proper infant and young child feeding practices.
∎ Supporting the referral of visibly severely wasted children 0-5 months for inpatient care/ stabilization centre.
∎ Ensuring quality of IYCF and CMAMI sensitization provided by volunteers during house to house visits and perform house to house visits to especially vulnerable infants.
∎ Ensure immediate support to at risk Mothers and Infants (0-6 month).
∎ Support to generate weekly, monthly and other relevant reports as detailed and keeping proper records of project activities at the field level.
∎ Enabling a friendly collaborative working culture within the team, actively sharing information and knowledge to enable the team to ensure effective learning and sharing across the organization.
∎ To perform other activities requested by the supervisor based on project need
∎ Proactively support SARPVs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ To comply the SARPV's principles and policies.

∎ Required Competences & Skills:
∎ Technically sound on nutrition aspect
∎ Good communication and presentation skills
∎ Language: Must be proficient in local language
∎ Employment Status: Contractual, until 31st December 2022 (renewable)

Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary 29000/- BDT
