Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement strategies for achieving individual sales goals
∎ Develop data and recommend programs to meet clients' needs
∎ Prepare proposals and contract that are geared to maximize profit while satisfying client needs
∎ Solicit files on a timely basis to confirm business
∎ Use outside sales calls, prospecting, hotels tours and hosting of clients to solicit new business
∎ Contact in-house customers to retain and grow existing business, repeat bookings or referrals to other RGH Hotels
∎ Review individual and team goals on a weekly basis; recommend and take appropriate actions to achieve objectives in key result areas
∎ Ensure all materials used are in accordance with brand standards
∎ Communicate clients' requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner
∎ Insure maximum occupancy on a daily basis by performing follow-ups on progress of groups booked with events services team
∎ Assist with the completion of monthly booking report(s)
∎ Prepare reports as necessary to improve management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
∎ Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork when providing guest service
∎ Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution and follow through when resolving guest problems
∎ Provide Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
∎ Assume the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
∎ Perform other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
∎ Keep Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
∎ Maintain a high standard of personal grooming at all times in order to represent the Hotel in the best possible manner, reflecting the public role of the position
∎ Be familiar with objectives, strategies, action plans and other marketing related information contained within the Hotel annual business plan
∎ Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
∎ Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment
∎ At all times projects a favorable image of the Hotel to the public
∎ Perform other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales and Marketing
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 year(s) work experience also will preferable who has experience in hotel industry at Dhaka
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s)Sales & Marketing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Hotel, Multinational Companies
∎ Minimum 3/ 5 years hotel sales experience
∎ Local market knowledge preferred
∎ Experience managing to brand standards
∎ Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
∎ General knowledge of contract laws
∎ Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills
∎ Strong negotiation skills
∎ Ability to travel
