Candidates must have practical experience in Tank Terminal Operation, fuel surveying, HFO, petroleum product inspection, or cargo surveying.
Experience with SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), Intertek, TÜV, Independent Inspection body or Certification body.
Experience in fuel terminal operations, vessel unloading, quantity determination, sampling, and quality inspection will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of fuel surveying, measurement, sampling, and reporting.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, honest, hardworking, and proactive.
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context
Overseeing Chattogram Tank Terminal operation and conducting pre-shipment inspections and supervise fuel and HFO surveys during unloading and receipt at the terminal.
Verify fuel quantity and quality through sampling, measurement, and inspection.
Ensure accurate measurement of tank levels, temperature, density, and other relevant parameters.
Coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, vessel representatives, terminal operators, and survey agencies.
Investigate quantity and quality discrepancies and prepare reports accordingly.
Maintain fuel stock records and verify survey reports, inspection certificates, and related documents.
Perform other duties assigned by management related to fuel survey and terminal operations.
