Officer - Cash (On Probation)

• Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Madrasa Degree.
• Academic Standard: Candidates having 3rd Division/Class in any examination are not eligible to apply.
• SSC: Minimum GPA 3.00 out of 5.00
• HSC: Minimum GPA 3.00 out of 5.00
• Graduation: Minimum CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00 from any UGC-approved university.

• Experience: Not applicable (Freshers are welcome).
• Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as on the date of publication of the job advertisement.
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.

About The Role:

The selected candidates will be responsible for performing operational, customer service, cash management, account-related, regulatory compliance, and other banking activities in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Officer-Cash (On Probation):

• Receive and process cash, cheque, and bill transactions efficiently and accurately while managing customer queues and maintaining security in the cash area.
• Perform cash receiving and payment transactions accurately, ensuring proper counting, verification, and handling of denominations.
• Provide courteous and customer-focused service at the cash counter and resolve transaction-related queries or disputes professionally.
• Load cash into ATMs, perform cash unloading when required, and conduct daily ATM cash reconciliation.
• Assist in cash and vault management, including balancing cash tills and managing vault keys in the absence of the Cash In-Charge, as authorized.
• Prepare Cash Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) in accordance with BFIU guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Remain vigilant against counterfeit notes, fraudulent transactions, money laundering, and suspicious activities, and report irregularities in accordance with established procedures.
• Comply with internal control and compliance guidelines issued by Bangladesh Bank and Bank’s Policy.
• Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly functional checklists.
• Contribute to the achievement of assigned KPI targets, including deposit growth, account openings, credit card acquisition, loan business, and other assigned targets.
• Maintain adequate stocks of forms, stationery, brochures, and other necessary materials in the cash area.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
• Promote the Bank’s products and services and provide appropriate information and guidance to customers.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant branch operations.
