Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer is mainly responsible for effective programme monitoring for continuous development and conduct evaluation to make suggestions to the Management for further development of the concerned project.
∎ Follow-up monitoring & evaluation indicators at output levels and recorded in the database.
∎ Follow up on activities, reports & performance towards Programme Document (PD) indicators.
∎ Lead to conduct baseline assessments to understand the educational needs and challenges within the Rohingya community.
∎ Work with relevant stakeholders to develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks aligned with project objectives.
∎ Analyze the progress, learning outcomes, enrollment rates, community engagement and impact of education initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Regularly monitor the implementation of education projects, ensuring adherence to set plans, timelines, and quality standards.
∎ Provide evidence-based recommendations for program adjustments and improvements.
∎ Prepare regular reports on the progress, achievements, and challenges of education programs for internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Communicate findings effectively to the education team, project managers, donors, and other relevant parties.
∎ Train education staff and partners on M&E processes and tools to enhance their capacity for accountability to affected populations.
∎ Facilitate feedback mechanisms for beneficiaries and stakeholders to contribute to program improvement.
∎ Promote a culture of learning within the education team, incorporating lessons learned into future program planning.
∎ Recommend adaptations to program strategies based on M&E findings to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
∎ Explore and promote innovative approaches to enhance the impact of education initiatives.
∎ Collaborate with other organizations, agencies, and government bodies involved in the Rohingya response to share M&E findings, best practices, and coordinate efforts for improved education outcomes.
