1. Well experienced in R&D within the textile/garment processing industry
2. Strong hands-on expertise in both Dry and Wet Processing
3. Proven track record of working with European and USA buyers
4. In-depth knowledge of chemicals, auxiliaries, and wash techniques (enzyme, bleach, softener, indigo, etc.)
5. Familiarity with international compliance standards (e.g., ZHDC, OEKO-TEX, buyer-specific requirements)
6. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Responsibilities & Context
*About the Role*
We are seeking an experienced and result-driven R&D Manager to lead our Research & Development department. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both Dry and Wet Processing, with proven experience working directly with European and USA buyers.
This is a key leadership role for someone who can drive innovation, ensure product quality, and align R&D operations with international buyer standards.
*Key Responsibilities*
1. Lead and manage the R&D department for both Dry and Wet Processing
2. Develop, test, and optimize new wash and finishing techniques
3. Interpret and implement buyer requirements from European and USA markets
4. Ensure R&D outputs meet international quality, compliance, and sustainability standards
5. Collaborate with production, quality, and merchandising teams to support sample development
6. Conduct trials, analyze results, and document all R&D activities
7. Stay updated on the latest chemicals, auxiliaries, and processing technologies
8. Train and mentor R&D team members
9. Support PP meetings and provide technical input for bulk production
10. Troubleshoot process issues and recommend corrective actions
