Job Context:
∎ Regional Hub Manager is responsible to set up Afghan Girls` Education (AGE) project activities and implement all the activities for targeted beneficiaries, community mobilization, teaching and managerial skill development for CBE and PPS school teachers, and support students to receive primary level of education to achieve and perform the project targets as well as ensuring the quality. The position is reporting to the Project Manager Afghan Girls` Education (AGE) project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎
∎ Prepare the work plan to implement the AGE project at the Province as well as districts level and implements the planned activities according to the approved frame work and milestone
∎ Take necessary steps for enhancing the capacity building of the staffs working in the project in order to ensure the quality of all activities to fulfil the targets
∎ Supervise the staff performance and schooling activities in the schools
∎ Ensure the quality education in all CBS
∎ Take initiatives for establishing effective communication with provincial stakeholders like PED, Provincial Governor, Economic Director, other GOs and other NGOs with regards to the project activities
∎ Take necessary steps for solving the problems related to the AGE operation and other tasks through mobilizing communities, government bodies and BRAC employees
∎ Create and operate a transparent and effective financial management system in the concern areas
∎ Ensure procurement, preservation and distribution of the materials according to the BRAC procurement policy and procedures
∎ Prepare, analyze and submit the periodical necessary reports to all concern authorities on time and to preserve the all necessary documents accordingly
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Carry out any given responsibilities by the BRAC Authority.

∎ Required Competencies:
∎ Speaking and writing ability in English
∎ Good knowledge in Child education system in Afghanistan
∎ Computer knowledge and skill
∎ Skill on result-based work plan (using logical framework) on strategy including budget related issues
∎ Skill on report writing and ability to write other reports from concerned supervisor with qualitative and quantitative information
∎ Knowledge on materials development
∎ Coordination skill with DED, PED, other Govt. officials, and local elected bodies, NGO's, project experts and concern community members
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7-10 years working experience in education sectors in reputed national or international organizations and at least 3-5 years' experience at Managerial level?
∎ Skill in project planning, implementing and budget and financial management
∎ Computer knowledge on MS Office, MS Excel and Power Point, E-mail in internet browsing
∎ Has strong team management skill
∎ Has knowledge on community mobilization activities
∎ Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
