Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA (major in HRM)/ Master's degree preferably in Social Science or Development Studies or any other relevant discipline.

Job Context:
∎ The purpose of this position is to ensure timely and quality hiring for BRAC International Dhaka Office and key positions in BRAC International countries. The job holder is accountable for planning and implementing the overall recruiting functions including process design, coordination with relevant stakeholders at HQ and Country Office level. S/he will develop and guide the country teams on effective management of talent acquisition functions including compliance of relevant policies both in BI and countries. This role is reportable to Deputy General Manager-HR, BRAC International and works closely with Human Resources Teams in BI countries to manage sourcing, interviewing and employment processes for BRAC International. Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following-

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with department/ programme heads and HRBPs to forecast future hiring needs, plan and facilitate the hiring process;
∎ Review and update the existing policy/processes and tools related to recruitment and selection and ensures that the recruitment and selection procedures and practices meet organisational needs, compliant with local laws and good practices;
∎ Research and identify best alternative sourcing agencies, establish functional relationship with best sourcing agencies and administer the external contracts;
∎ Lead the hiring process up to mid-senior positions at BI Dhaka Office and department heads at country levels hiring managed by BI HR team.
∎ Ensures that job advertisements are prepared with set alignment, placed on selected advertising hosts on time and coordinate the open & close dates;
∎ Keep track of job applications, conduct initial screening of CVs, work with programme managers to develop selection process including interview guidelines, and facilitate the selection tests & interviews;
∎ Follow-up references and employment checks, determine job offer terms and conditions, and coordinate the job offering necessaries;
∎ Manage the administration of all recruitment records, ensures that these are complete, accurate and compliant with organisational current policy and practices;
∎ Provide guidance to the HR teams in BI countries to plan, design and execute talent acquisition interventions and rolling out according to set procedures.
∎ Ensure cross learning across BI countries through regular networking, learning sharing and periodic meetings with HR Heads and Teams on talent acquisition issues.
∎ Provides guidance and support to country HR teams on their regular capacity development in areas of talent acquisition functions.
∎ Safeguarding Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Competent in managing multicultural staff, working effectively with senior management teams
∎ Excellent understanding of recruitment processes of development organisation
∎ Sound understanding in HR policies and procedures; particularly labor laws
∎ Proficiency in MS Office applications
∎ Proficient with HRIS tools; using applicant tracking system and HR database
∎ Familiarity with social media (i.e. LinkedIn) and other professional networks
∎ Capable of working both individually and as part of a team
∎ Excellent relationship management skills and ability to communicate in all forms (written, verbal, negotiation, presentation skills)
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
∎ Agility to learn for professional development
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in HR, preferably in a development organisation.
∎ At least 3 years' experience in recruitment & selection or similar role
