Do you have at least five years of relevant experience at the WASH–health interface, including disease surveillance, environmental health, hygiene, or outbreak preparedness and response?

Do you have experience in humanitarian coordination, including representing an organisation and working with government, UN agencies, NGOs, and local partners?

Do you have experience in research, assessment, data interpretation, and technical reporting to translate public-health risks and evidence into practical WASH actions?

The role:

Oxfam in Bangladesh is looking for a WASH Sector Support professional to strengthen the quality, sustainability, and accountability of WASH interventions in the Rohingya humanitarian response. The role will support WASH sector coordination, strengthen collaboration between WASH and Health actors, and translate disease surveillance, joint assessments, and other public-health evidence into practical, verifiable actions. The post holder will also lead or support research, evidence generation, and learning to inform programme adaptation, partner capacity strengthening, advocacy, and future programme design, while ensuring meaningful participation of local partners.

Salary & Benefits: as per Oxfam National D1 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDT1,462,326.00 (13 months) with other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
