∎ Minimum 08 years of relevant professional experience in TVET and Skills Development programme.
∎ Excellent command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skills & conversant with MS Office package, large Data Management software and tools.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel frequently.
∎ Age limit for the applicant would be 45 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To contribute implementing UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.
∎ To analyze sectoral demand for skilled workforce and develop strategy for DE&ED programme of UCEP Bangladesh in line with country rules and regulations.
∎ Lead the design and planning of entrepreneurship development and of UCEP Bangladesh and ensure its implementation incorporating the Social Inclusion Strategy.
∎ To plan and develop entrepreneurship programme of UCEP Bangladesh and ensure its implementation incorporating the Social Inclusion Strategy.
∎ To coordinate sectoral skills planning committees and ensure feedback sharing with TVET and skills development team.
∎ To ensure development of new partnerships and resource generation from the private sector, financial institutes, and other stakeholders.
∎ To develop a trainee tracking system and ensure its effective implementation.
∎ To coordinate with employer’s forum/council for gathering feedback, study findings, survey reports etc. and share the same with the respective colleagues.
∎ Design, plan and upgrade entrepreneurship and enterprise development materials, training activities and plans, training programmes, materials, and tools, pre- and post-tests as required.
∎ To review reports of monitoring functions and provide feedback based on those monitoring findings.
∎ To lead and guide field level staff for piloting any new initiatives in relation to entrepreneurship development programme.
∎ To oversee, mentor and build capacity of the entrepreneurship development team.
∎ To lead and contribute for development of proposals, business plans, business goals and other reports and documents.
∎ To contribute in setting and achievement of yearly business goals for the entrepreneurship development programme followed by setting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and to roll-out the goals and KPIs among job-placement staff.
∎ Regularly contribute to UCEP Bangladesh website, other relevant department as well as ED’s Office with updates success stories, case studies, announcements of events, achievements, relevant documents and information etc.
∎ To prepare and present quarterly report for SMT on progress of programmes.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/activities/plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents, and other internal and external communications.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
∎ Job Purpose: To ensure development, quality assurance and support implementation of the entrepreneurship development programme of UCEP Bangladesh and its other entities in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.
