Responsibilities & Context
Job Context
Tusuka, a 100% export-oriented garment manufacturing company in Bangladesh, is looking for an experienced and results-driven professional to lead its denim washing unit, ensuring production efficiency, consistent wash quality, cost control, and on-time shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage overall washing operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and shipment deadlines.
Develop production plans and optimize machine capacity, manpower, and resource utilization.
Ensure approved wash recipes, laboratory dips, buyer standards, and bulk production consistency.
Monitor wash quality, shade consistency, rewash, rejection, and customer complaints.
Control washing costs, chemical consumption, water, energy, and other operational expenses.
Lead wash development, technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with Planning, Merchandising, Wash Development, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams.
Lead departmental teams, improve productivity, and ensure effective manpower management.
Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, chemical safety, environmental standards, and wastewater management.
Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and drive improvements in overall unit profitability and operational efficiency.
