About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, knowledgeable, and student-focused Education Advisor to join our team at our Mirpur DOHS office in Dhaka.
The successful candidate will guide prospective students throughout their international education journey by assessing their academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and financial circumstances. The role involves providing personalized counselling, recommending suitable study destinations and academic programs, and assisting students with university admissions and application procedures.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service mindset, and the ability to build professional relationships with prospective students and their families.
This is a full-time, on-site position with regular office hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct consultations with prospective students interested in pursuing higher education abroad.
Assess students' academic qualifications, study gaps, English language proficiency, and financial circumstances.
Recommend suitable universities, colleges, courses, and international study destinations based on individual student profiles.
Provide accurate information about admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and available study pathways.
Guide students through university applications, offer letters, and admission procedures.
Assist students in preparing and organizing academic, financial, and other required documentation.
Provide guidance on student visa application requirements and documentation in accordance with applicable immigration regulations.
Maintain regular communication and follow up with prospective and enrolled students throughout the admission process.
Maintain accurate student records, application updates, and follow-up information.
Coordinate with internal recruitment, marketing, and admission teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Participate in student recruitment activities, education fairs, seminars, and promotional events.
Build and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, university representatives, and institutional partners.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Counseling, or a related discipline.
1–2 years of relevant professional experience in educational consultancy, international student recruitment, student counselling, or a related field.
Good understanding of international university admission processes, particularly for the UK and European destinations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bengali.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Ability to assess students' academic profiles and recommend appropriate study options.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple student applications and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email communication, and online application platforms.
Self-motivated, responsible, and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to work full-time from our office in Mirpur DOHS, Dhaka.
