Job Context:
∎ Community Based Protection Project.
∎ The purpose of the position is to ‘Coordinator - COMs & Community Groups `by following the supervision of ‘CBP Coordinator’ and ensure effective implementation of the organizational Community Based Protection Project Activities.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead development and implementation of Community Groups &Community Outreach Member (COM) programs, including overall Protection.
∎ Provide technical support to ensure high quality of programming and services, exceeding minimum competencies for staff and minimum standards for activities.
∎ Conduct and support ongoing monitoring of Outreach activities (Home Visit, Awareness Session, Facilitation Training Session, SSP) through frequent visits to camps, to ensure minimum standards for progress toward targets.
∎ Identify program gaps, areas of growth, and strategies and support in adapting program design to effectively meet volunteers needs, the changing context, and other factors.
∎ Lead and participate in regular strategy and program planning meetings for Outreach and the overall organization, including for grant opening, mid-term review, and grant closing.
∎ Lead Outreach Members capacity-building strategy for overall program department, to ensure a strong level of professional development and team-building.
∎ Ensure preparation and compilation of internal and external weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for Outreach programs, in collaboration with the Reporting team and Senior Management.
∎ Support the coherent and harmonized implementation of community-based protection activities.
∎ Coordinate with other coordinators to ensure coherence in field protection activities.
∎ Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies, field coordinator and others sector colleagues.
∎ Advocate for the needs of vulnerable individuals both internally and through coordination mechanisms through evidence-based advocacy.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Manage monitoring and evaluation activities at the field level.
∎ Document good practices and lessons learned.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience in the field of Community Based Protection activities
∎ Minimum 02 years of working experience in the relevant field (Rohingya context).
∎ Ability to work independently& must have experience of team management
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, Conflict Management and decision-making capabilities
∎ Willingness and ability to work in hardship environments
∎ Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills are essential
∎ Previous exposure to UN sector approach at field implementation level
∎ Profound management skills in implementing comprehensive organizational development projects
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and reporting skills in English and effective interpersonal and negotiation skills, proven through successful interactions with all levels of stakeholder groups.
