Required Skills: Firewalls and IDS/IPS, SIEM (Wazuh/Splunk), vulnerability scanners (Nessus/OpenVAS), Windows and Linux hardening, incident handling, log analysis.
Key Performance Indicators: Critical vulnerabilities fixed within 15 days; 100% endpoint protection coverage; MFA on all privileged accounts; staff training completion ≥ 95%.
Responsibilities & Context
Protect the information, systems and networks of ABG Sports City by detecting and responding to threats and enforcing security policy.
1.Develop and maintain IT security policies: acceptable use, passwords, access control, backup and incident response.
2.Monitor firewall, endpoint, server and email logs (SIEM where available) and investigate alerts.
3.Manage endpoint protection/EDR and email security; report patch compliance.
4.Run monthly vulnerability scans and track remediation with system owners.
5.Review user and privileged access rights every quarter; enforce multi-factor authentication.
6.Lead incident response: contain, investigate, recover and report to the IT Coordinator.
7.Protect payment/POS data and personal data of visitors and members per applicable Bangladesh law and PCI DSS.
8.Run security awareness training and phishing simulations for staff.
9.Review the security of new systems, vendors and applications before go-live; keep the risk register.
