MCSA / Microsoft Azure Administrator, RHCSA or VCP certification preferred.
Windows Server and Linux, Active Directory, virtualization, backup tools (e.g. Veeam), NAS/SAN and RAID, PowerShell/Bash scripting, monitoring tools.
Responsibilities & Context
Keep the servers, storage, virtualization, directory services and backups that run ticketing, CCTV and business applications at ABG Sports City available, secure and well documented.
Install, configure and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux) and hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox).
Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file and print services, and the full user account lifecycle.
Manage the email and collaboration platform (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace): licenses, mailboxes and security policies.
Deploy and Manage software and storage to host business applications.
Run daily, weekly and monthly backups; test restores every quarter; maintain the disaster recovery plan.
Monitor server health, capacity and uptime; respond to alerts within the agreed SLA.
Apply OS and firmware patches on an approved schedule; harden servers with the Cybersecurity Analyst.
Support ERP, ticketing/POS and CCTV storage servers in coordination with vendors.
Maintain the server room: UPS, cooling, power, cabling, labelling and the access log.
Keep server inventory, configuration records, change log and credentials in a secure vault.
