Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of "Full-stack Software Developer- IT, BOGCL" at Dhaka.

The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:

A. Full-Stack Application Architecture and Development

• Design, build, test and optimize end-to-end web applications and enterprise software solutions using maintainable architecture and clean coding principles.

• Develop responsive, accessible and high-performance interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript and modern UI libraries.

• Build backend services and microservices using Node.js / NestJS, Python / FastAPI and, where appropriate, Go.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, GraphQL gateways and inter-service communication using gRPC where justified by solution requirements.

B. Database, Integration and Industrial Data

• Design and maintain relational, time-series, cache and document data stores, including PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB, Redis and MongoDB as appropriate.

• Develop data models, queries, indexing, migration scripts and database performance improvements while maintaining data integrity and access controls.

• Build secure data ingestion and integration pipelines using event streaming and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and MQTT.

• Integrate operational telemetry, including flow, pressure and temperature data where available, into authorized monitoring portals and dashboards.

• Coordinate with plant automation / OT, infrastructure and business teams to validate data sources, connectivity, ownership and operational requirements.

C. Cloud, DevOps and Deployment

• Package and deploy applications using Docker and, where required, Kubernetes-based orchestration.

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD workflows, including GitHub Actions or equivalent approved tooling.

• Develop and operate solutions in the approved cloud environment; the source profile identifies AWS services including EKS and Lambda.

• Implement application monitoring, logging, automated testing, release controls, backup and recovery arrangements.

• Coordinate production deployment, rollback planning, environment configuration and technical handover.

D. Security, Quality and Intelligent Automation

• Apply secure development practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, role-based access and encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest.

• Follow secure coding principles, conduct code reviews and address application vulnerabilities and dependency risks.

• Maintain automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing appropriate to application criticality.

• Explore approved AI / LLM integrations for operational alerts, anomaly analysis and diagnostic reporting, with appropriate validation, privacy and security controls.

• Prepare architecture diagrams, API specifications, database documentation, deployment guides and user-facing technical documentation.

E. Business Partnership and Operational Support

• Work with business users and plant stakeholders to gather requirements, define acceptance criteria and translate operational needs into software features.

• Provide application support, troubleshoot defects and performance issues, and manage enhancements through an approved development lifecycle.

• Participate in site visits and technical discussions to understand industrial workflows and operational constraints.

• Promote reusable components, code quality, version control, peer review and collaborative software engineering practices.
