Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in Relevant Field (Program / Project Management, Finance and Accounting, Social Science, Development Studies, Inclusive Education Program etc.).
∎ Master's in education, Social Science, Development Studies. Experience in inclusive education, disability in development, inclusive development and will add value to this position.

Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ To carryout activities of Shobai Miley Shikhi Activities (SMSA) in partnership with RTI international funded by USAID. She/he will be responsible to maintain coordination with CDD- SMS project team and RTI. The position will be responsible for successful implementation of the planned activities, monitor and progress the work with highest possible standards following the stipulated timeframe. Maintain collaboration and coordination with the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE), Department of Social Services (DSS), District level government education authorities, relevant stakeholders to promote the SMS project activities, strengthen collaboration to ensure sustainable impact of the project.
∎ The position will be responsible to provide technical knowledge and guidance on inclusive education to support the team in field operation with the guidance of SMS project programme staff in RTI and manage SMS project filed staff.
∎ She/he will be responsible for managing the assigned projects detailed responsibilities on implementation of technical activities, program management, field operation, coordination at HQ and field, HR coordination, within the allocated budget framework of CDD-RTI policy compliance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, design and implement the project activity concretely, and track the progress of the activity maintaining highest quality standard.
∎ Provide technical support to the field implementation team on disability and inclusive education to implement the work in-line with the project goal and objective.
∎ Supervise, monitor and guide to the Associate Coordinator & Capacity Building & Documentation Specialist, and Disability Inclusion and Accessibility Specialist, review monthly work plan as per project plan.
∎ Supervise, monitor and guide to School Community Officer & Facilitator (SCO-SCF) monthly progress of the work as per project plan.
∎ Provide required supports to disability and inclusive education specialist to initiate need- based referral linkage supports service provisions for children with disability in project locations.
∎ Maintain collaboration with national and local government stakeholders e.g. DPE, DSS, DPEO, JPUF, NGO networking organisations and Organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) and promote the SMS project and RTI.
∎ Oversee and monitor the budget, expenditure, cost against the activities implemented as per plan, submit proper invoice following financial compliance.
∎ Prepare quarterly, six-monthly, annual report, analysis the data, produce report and prepare human stories following the guidance of SMSA-RTI.
∎ Participate the events organized by SMSA, RTI and CDD.
∎ Support the procurement team of CDD to procure materials, equipment following organizational policy, manuals in consultation procurement committee.
∎ Organize donor visit, MERLA visit, Training, workshops and different day observing event related to the rights of children with disability, national-international level days-weeks on promoting inclusive education in SMS project field office locations.
∎ Strongly follow organizational and donor compliance, safeguarding policy and practice.
∎ Any other task assigned by supervisor /CDD authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Minimum of 5 Years working experience in inclusive education/education and disability development sectors.
∎ Experience on project management, program operations, staff supervision, advocacy and referral for marginalized community peoples through community development programs.
