Educational Requirements:
∎ At least Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communication or Social/ Behavioural Sciences i.e., Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology or Health Education etc.); Master's Degree will get preference.

∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Stating Date: As soon as possible.
∎ Duration of contract: 07 months up to 31 December 2022 (with possibility of extension).
∎ Reportable to : PPP Project Coordinator in close coordination with Director, DRM.
∎ Duty station :National Head Quarters (NHQ), Moghbazar, Dhaka with frequent field visit.
∎ Job purpose: The position will ensure integration of community engagement and accountability (CEA) approaches in the Red Cross Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement, in particularly Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) and support the implementation of CEA activities under PPP. S/he will support on community participation and feedback in all phases of the programmes/operations through mainstreaming CEA approaches across projects, sectors and work closely with the project implementation teams to foster relationships with local organizations, CBOs, committees, and the wider community, and ensure strong community engagement as part of the response. The position will coordinate with relevant BDRCS departments (CD, DRM and Health) /programs/ projects/CEA team and other entities for developing and disseminating information on health, early warning, disaster preparedness and readiness, disaster risk management, community development etc.). The position will assist in setting up feedback mechanisms within the scope of programs and create an environment of accountability. The position will also contribute to enhancing the impact, reach and efficiency of emergency response operations through the integration of CEA activities and approaches in a systematic and innovative way. This includes community communication, participation and feedback systems, accountability, behavior and social change communication, information as aid and community led problem solution.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least, 3 years of experience working in community engagement and accountability, communication with communities (CwC), communication for development (C4D) or social mobilisation in Bangladesh for a humanitarian or development organisation.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 75000 (Monthly)
∎ Up to BDT 75,000 per month (consolidated), other benefits as per organizations policy.
