Senior Executive – Sample (N. Tech – H&M)

Strong knowledge of H&M buyer requirements, tech packs, garment construction and sample development.

Good understanding of sewing operations, measurement, fabric, trims and accessories.

Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to ensure first-time sample approval and on-time submission.

Proficiency in sample room productivity, target achievement and rework reduction.

Ensure accurate sample development according to buyer requirements, technical specifications and approved tech packs.

Provide proper sewing instructions to sample makers and verify sample fabric, trims and accessories before sample development.

Check sample measurements, workmanship and construction details to ensure first-time approval.

Coordinate with the merchandising, sample fabric and trims & accessories teams to ensure the timely availability of required materials.

Follow up on sample sewing and development activities to ensure on-time sample submission.

Review buyer tech packs and identify technical issues before sample development to minimize rework and rejection.

Monitor in-line sample operations and coordinate with the Sample Head to resolve technical difficulties.

Monitor sample room productivity, operator utilization and target achievement to ensure efficient use of available resources.

Minimize unnecessary movement, idle time, material wastage and indirect costs.

Ensure proper utilization of stationery, printing materials, electricity and other departmental resources.

Support bulk production activities when sample orders are low, as assigned by management.

Maintain sample development records and regularly report progress, pending issues and delays to the concerned authority.
