we are seeking Sr. Instructor, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, who will responsible for delivering classroom-based theoretical and practical training in Welding following the National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework (NTVQF) Level 2 curriculum. Additionally, the role aims to develop trainees' competencies in welding processes, including 3G and 6G welding positions, while ensuring compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, workplace safety, and productivity standards.

Major Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom-based theoretical and practical training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) following the approved National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework (NTVQF) Level 1 and Level 2 curricula and training schedules.

• Demonstrate practical techniques for installing, servicing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing domestic and light commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners.

• Train trainees on refrigeration principles, electrical fundamentals, refrigeration piping, brazing, refrigerant charging and recovery, system evacuation, leak detection, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and reading technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

• Prepare trainees for National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) competency-based assessments through practical exercises, mock assessments, regular evaluations, coaching, and individual feedback.

• Ensure workplace safety by training trainees in the proper use of tools, testing instruments, refrigerants, and workshop equipment, while maintaining safety standards and ensuring proper equipment maintenance and calibration.

• Develop lesson plans, practical job sheets, training materials, assessment tools, quizzes, attendance records, and training reports in accordance with competency standards, BRAC guidelines, and NSDA requirements.

• Monitor trainee attendance, learning progress, practical performance, and competency achievements; conduct trainee input, progress, and graduation surveys and ensure accurate and timely data entry in Taroworks.

• Support job placement initiatives by preparing trainees for technical interviews and industry requirements, and collaborate with BRAC Advocacy and Communications units to promote skills development and the inclusion of disadvantaged and marginalized groups.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
