Managing the VAT of the PP oven bag factory is preferred.
Responsibilities & Context
GQ Group of Companies intends to recruit a highly experienced and technically competent VAT professional to independently manage, supervise, and oversee all VAT-related activities of its manufacturing units. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper VAT compliance, maintaining accurate VAT records, managing VAT documentation, and handling all VAT-related matters with the National Board of Revenue (NBR) and other relevant authorities. Related job responsibilities are as below:
1. Manage overall VAT compliance and ensure timely submission of VAT returns (Form 9.1 and 6.10) and statements after taking approval of your reporting officer.
2. Ensure accurate calculation, collection, payment, and adjustment of VAT.
3. Review VAT-related invoices, purchase documents, sales invoices, and supporting records (If Required).
4. Issue different Mushok like 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.7, 6.8, 6.10 etc.
5. Prepare and Submit Mushok 4.3 (Price declaration or co-efficient)
6. Maintain proper VAT registers, records, and documentation.
7. Monitor VAT deductions, credits, adjustments, and refunds.
8. Ensure compliance with applicable VAT laws, rules, regulations, and government requirements.
9. Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory reports within prescribed deadlines.
10. Coordinate with the VAT authorities/NBR regarding VAT-related matters, notices, assessments, and correspondence.
11. Handle VAT audits, inspections, investigations, and assessments and provide necessary supporting documents.
12. Develop and implement internal VAT control procedures to minimize compliance risks.
13. Reconcile VAT records with accounting records and identify discrepancies.
14. Coordinate with Accounts, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Commercial, and other departments on VAT matters.
15. Review VAT treatment of imports, exports, local purchases, services, and other business transactions as applicable.
16. Maintain proper records of VAT certificates, challans, returns, invoices, and correspondence.
17. Identify potential VAT risks and recommend corrective actions.
18. Prepare VAT-related reports and provide management with updates on liabilities, credits, disputes, and compliance status.
19. Ensure confidentiality and proper maintenance of VAT, Tax and Financial Information.
20. Supervise and oversee all VAT-related activities and compliance matters of the sister concerns of the GQ Group.
