Job Context: We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials and finished goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock management, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The candidate must ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and control all daily fabric warehouse operations.

2. Receive fabrics from suppliers and verify quantities against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.

3. Check fabric quality, quantity, color, shade, lot number, and roll details upon receipt.

4. Ensure proper fabric storage, labeling, and identification according to fabric type, color, shade, and lot number.

5. Maintain accurate fabric stock records in the inventory management system and stock registers.

6. Monitor fabric receiving, issuing, and transfer activities to ensure accurate inventory control.

7. Issue fabrics to the cutting department according to approved requisitions and production requirements.

8. Ensure proper lot and shade matching before issuing fabrics to prevent shade variation and production problems.

9. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.

10. Monitor fabric stock levels and coordinate with the Merchandising, Planning, and Production departments to ensure timely material availability.

11. Minimize fabric damage, wastage, shrinkage, and unauthorized material movement.

12. Ensure proper segregation and documentation of rejected, defective, and surplus fabrics.

13. Supervise warehouse workers and ensure discipline, productivity, and compliance with company policies.

14. Maintain proper housekeeping, safety, and fire prevention measures in the fabric warehouse.

15. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fabric stock, receiving, issuing, and inventory discrepancies.

16. Coordinate with the relevant departments during internal audits, external audits, and stock verification.

17. Ensure that all fabric warehouse documents and records are properly maintained and updated.

18. Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by management.
