Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Previous experience in managing data collection through Android device.
∎ Previous experience in managing hygiene promotion team and activities.
∎ Good understanding and knowledge on WASH core indicator.
∎ Experience in conducting KAP survey, PHAST, PRA, RRA.
∎ Ability to understand overall MEAL system.
∎ Skilled in working with MS Word, Excel, ArcGIS/QGIS (added value), SPSS etc.
∎ Knowledge on qualitative and quantitative research tools.
∎ Experience in Photoshop and Illustrator software and related software.
∎ Experience in SPHINX, KoBo, ODK or related software will be added value.
∎ Communication skills to interact with refugees and vulnerable population.
∎ Ability to communicate with different stakeholders.
∎ Previous experience working with NGO/development organization especially in the WASH intervention.
∎ Good knowledge on gender, age and person with disabilities inclusion.
∎ Understanding complain response and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) approach.
∎ Team management, organizational capacity and activity planning – Ability to   analyze and synthesize – Ability to work under limited supervision – Dynamism – Good report writing ability – Computer skills

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Objective 1: Collection of Information and Data Gathering.
∎ Collect data on program implementation daily basis and share findings with line management and relevant staff members.
∎ Identify priority activities to set the methodology for the data collection.
∎ Conduct interviews at various levels (household, Individual, Temporary Shelters (ITS), etc.).
∎ Apply and manage different data collection tools and methodologies, such as questionnaires and Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) surveys, tailored to specific cases.
∎ Compile indirect information and triangulate provided data through direct observation and alternative sources to validate findings.
∎ Systematically input primary and secondary information, collected data, and any observations into an Android tablet/device or paper-based questionnaires.
∎ Review all gathered information to ensure the quality and completeness of data, minimizing the need for additional visits or calls.
∎ Manage and control the timing predefined for each assessment session to ensure efficient data collection.
∎ Objective 2: Planning and implementation of Hygiene promotion activities.
∎ Ensure implementation of the Hygiene promotional activities based on the proposal and or defined by the manager.
∎ Validate the relevance of the intervention area, the selection of beneficiaries.
∎ Plan the activities according to the development of the project.
∎ Follow the activity advancement through regular visits.
∎ Defining the approach and presenting the activities with local stakeholders·
∎ Identify and anticipate problems or constrain·
∎ Understand the context and propose improvement and/or new activities to reach objectives.
∎ Ensure the distribution as per project needs.
∎ Ensure Proper activity report filling.
∎ Objective 3: Regularly monitor and follow up on Hygiene Promotion (HP) activities of the program and analyze the situation.
∎ Cross-check information with field-level sources for data verification.
∎ Conduct field verifications for different components at field level·
∎ Observe and track various kits distribution including Soap, MHM and dental kits and other Non-Food Items (NFI) distributions using appropriate tools.
∎ Monitor and follow up on bi-weekly data collection processes and validate those.
∎ Alert Action Against Hunger (ACF) staff of any issues, changes, or threats detected during field visits.
∎ Regularly follow up and monitor HP activities, including day celebration and camp cleaning activities at the field level.·       Develop IEC materials and training and session modules considering the context.
∎ Ensure participation in the HP meetings at sector, camp, and field levels.
∎ Support the team by assessing and responding to Acute Watery Diarrhea (AWD) case.
∎ Objective 4: Quality Assurance and Data Integrity.
∎ Ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data by conducting thorough reviews and cross-verifications.
∎ Maintain high standards of data confidentiality and security, adhering to ethical guidelines and organizational policies.
∎ Regularly update data collection tools and methodologies in response to changing program needs or operational contexts.
∎ Objective 5: Reporting and Communication.
∎ Prepare and submit regular reports on data collection activities, findings, and insights to line management and relevant teams.
∎ Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on data collection progress and challenges.
∎ Collaborate with program teams to translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for program improvement.
∎ Training and Capacity Building:
∎ Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
∎ Assist in training and guiding field staff or volunteers in data collection techniques and tools.
∎ Objective 6: Others.
∎ Closely work with the MEAL team for information sharing and required support. (KAP surveys, items distribution, mass information campaigns, etc.).
∎ Support data entry efforts whenever it’s required.
∎ Takes care of the equipment assigned to the staff.
∎ Follows security measures.
∎ Respect of ACF Charter and internal rules and regulations.
∎ Be committed to participate to any other activities in order to achieve the project goals.
∎ ACF policy including  physical inventory when needed.
∎ Objective 7: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary.
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities.
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees.
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
