Responsibilities & Context

The chocolate room is seeking skilled and experienced Barista for their Coffee Shop who will responsible for preparing beverages, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, answer menu questions, and offer recommendations.
• Drink Preparation: Make coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to exact recipes and customer requests.
• Equipment Operation: Use and clean espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and drip brewers safely.
• Cash Handling: Process cash and card payments accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Cleanliness: Keep counters, seating areas, and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Inventory Management: Restock supplies, track bean inventory, and notify managers when items run low.
