Job Summary
We are looking for a polished, warm, and professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Hostess will be responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, managing reservations and seating arrangements, coordinating with the service team, and ensuring a smooth and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and professionally greet guests upon arrival.
Manage guest seating and ensure efficient table allocation according to reservations and restaurant flow.
Handle reservations, walk-ins, cancellations, and special requests professionally.
Maintain accurate reservation records and coordinate table availability with the restaurant team.
Communicate guests' preferences, special occasions, allergies, and other important information to the service team.
Monitor the dining room and assist in maintaining a smooth guest flow during busy periods.
Coordinate closely with waitstaff, supervisors, kitchen, and management to ensure seamless service.
Handle guest inquiries regarding menus, restaurant facilities, operating hours, and policies.
Ensure the entrance, reception, and waiting areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
Recognize returning guests and provide personalized service whenever possible.
Support the Front of House team with other operational duties when required.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Hostess, Guest Relations Executive, Receptionist, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
Experience in a fine-dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or premium hospitality environment will be an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good command of spoken English.
Pleasant personality with a warm and confident approach to guests.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
Good knowledge of reservation and table-management procedures.
Professional appearance and excellent personal grooming.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
