Electrical Engineer (MEP)

• At least 5 years

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from a reputed public or private university.

• At least 5 years

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical and MEP design, BOQ preparation and project execution.

• Experience in residential and commercial real estate development projects is highly preferred.

• Practical experience in MEP design coordination, estimation and site supervision.

• Strong knowledge of electrical and MEP systems, design standards and construction practices.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (especially Excel) and relevant engineering software.

• Ability to prepare and review MEP BOQs, drawings, specifications and cost estimates.

• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Review, develop and coordinate electrical and MEP designs for residential and commercial building projects.

• Prepare and review MEP BOQs, cost estimates, technical specifications and material requirements.

• Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), load calculations, power distribution and other related technical drawings.

• Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects, structural engineers, contractors and project teams for design development and implementation.

• Ensure proper planning and execution of electrical systems, including substations, transformers, generators, lifts, lighting, power distribution and fire detection systems.

• Supervise and monitor MEP installation, testing and commissioning at project sites.

• Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, safety standards and applicable building codes.

• Identify technical issues, provide solutions and ensure quality control throughout project execution.

• Prepare technical reports, project progress updates and material requirement statements.
