Experience Requirements:
Practical experience in printing quality within the knit garments industry is required.
Strong knowledge of screen printing, print registration, color matching, print defects, and quality inspection procedures.
Ability to identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Responsibilities & Context
Monitor and ensure printing quality throughout the production process.
Inspect printed garments for defects such as color variation, misregistration, print misplacement, smudging, pinholes, and uneven printing.
Ensure compliance with approved artwork, color standards, print specifications, and buyer requirements.
Conduct inline, end-line, and final quality inspections.
Coordinate with Printing Production, Quality Assurance, Merchandising, and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues.
Identify the root causes of printing defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor printing quality parameters and minimize rejection, rework, and wastage.
Maintain printing quality inspection reports and defect analysis records.
Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and company procedures.
Guide and supervise quality inspectors to achieve production quality targets.
