Fashion Designer

Minimum of 2 years of experience in fashion design, with a focus on women's & men's apparel, including sports wear and outer wear.

Strong experience in sourcing fabrics and trims directly from mills and suppliers.

Proven ability to work across both sports wear and outer wear product categories.

Experience in managing and mentoring a design team.

Lead the design of sports wear and outer wear for the Denmark, UK & European market, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, market trends, and brand identity.

Source fabrics directly from mills and establish strong relationships with suppliers for trims and materials.

Ensure that all sourced fabrics meet quality and performance standards.

Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow professionally.

Collaborate directly with buyers, presenting design concepts, samples, and specifications.

Ensure client requirements and project deadlines are met.

Contribute to the development of brand identity and storytelling for each collection, ensuring designs communicate a strong narrative that resonates with target customers.

Prepare presentations for clients and internal stakeholders, and support the development of marketing tools and promotional materials.

Utilize 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Gerber, Gemini, Lectra) to create virtual prototypes and presentations where applicable.

Stay up to date with current fashion trends and competitors in the Denmark, UK and European markets, integrating these insights into ongoing design development.

Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure designs meet the highest standards of quality and are produced within budget and timelines.

Can sew garments using different types of sewing machines.
