Job Context:
∎ Bit Body Bangladesh Limited (BBBL) is a subsidiary of Bit Body, Inc., USA. We manufacture custom made clothing for our clients globally under our own brand MTailor (www.MTailor.com). Some of our products include dress shirts, suits, jeans, khakis and tees.
∎ BBBL is looking for a Finance and Operations Analyst with proven work experience as a financial or operations analyst or similar role. This person will report to US Head of Finance and Operations and BD CEO, working on financial & accounting related tasks of both BBBL and MTailor and ensure we use capital and resources beneficially. You will also be working with the US team to monitor and optimize production lines and Freight operations. This position offers many opportunities to expand the role in whichever areas the company grows.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ BBBL accounting: to prepare monthly and annual financial statements
∎ US accounting: to prepare monthly and annual financial statements
∎ Monthly Inventory Management and its effects on the company's financials and
∎ operational capacity
∎ Freight margin management and its effects on the company's financials
∎ Freight shipment management and its effects on the company's operational capacity
∎ Production summary updates and its effects on the company's financials and
∎ operational capacity
∎ Updates to the company's product margins
∎ Analyzing the company's financial performance against expected margins
∎ Updates to the company's inter-company financial relationship
∎ Any other tasks that may be assigned as we're a growing company
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 21 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Work in the office cum factory at Bogabari Bazar, Ashulia, Dhaka or may work from home. Working hour flexible considering the candidate has to communicate with his boss who is stationed in USA. Strong user of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets, with working knowledge of complex functions and tools. Deeply numbers and mathematically oriented. Knowledge of basic statistics, like standard deviations and p-values, is a plus
∎ Strong organizational and operational skills. Interest in combining analytics, operations and management
∎ Great communicator via phone and email. Amazing English is necessary
∎ Some knowledge of textiles / fabrics and clothing manufactured a plus but not required
∎ Excellent attention to detail and error checking
∎ Work well across teams without direct managerial power or responsibilities
∎ Excited to solve puzzles, square qualitative factory reports with production data and generally solve open-ended, difficult problems with rigorous analysis.
Salary: Tk. 75000 - 125000 (Monthly)
