Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing & Sales to lead nationwide sales and marketing operations for our automated brick manufacturing business in Bangladesh. The role will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding dealer and distributor networks, strengthening brand presence, and managing key institutional and government project relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement nationwide sales strategies for bricks and related building materials.
• Build and manage strong relationships with dealers, distributors, real estate developers, contractors, and construction companies across Bangladesh.
• Lead bulk sales for government tenders, LGED, PWD, Roads and Highways, City Corporations, and private infrastructure projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and MIS reports for management.
Marketing & Brand Management
• Develop and execute brand positioning strategies in the Bangladesh construction market.
• Plan and oversee marketing campaigns through online platforms, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
Government & Corporate Sales
• Identify and pursue government and semi-government projects.
• Coordinate with tender departments for e-GP tender participation and documentation support.
• Build long-term relationships with procurement officers, consultants, and project directors.
Team Leadership & Management
• Recruit, train, and manage area sales officers, and marketing executives.
• Set KPIs and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Ensure strong coordination between head office and factory operations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with production, logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely product availability and smooth delivery to project sites.
• Monitor daily stock planning and distribution efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in sales & marketing, preferably in auto/machine made brick sector or construction materials sectors in Bangladesh.
• Strong knowledge of Bangladesh real estate and construction industry along with government procurement systems.
