Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline preferably in Statistics/ Environmental/ Climate Science/ Urban and Regional/ Rural Planning

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct monitoring of project processes, results and immediate outcomes in the target towns and cities.
∎ Identify monitoring issues, set up indicators, and develop questionnaires and other tools for data collection.
∎ Conduct needs-based assessment- surveys, stakeholder consultations, in-depth interviews, key informant interviews, FGDs and apply other tools for collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
∎ Technical assistance provides to community and PO for smoothly data collation by using mobile application
∎ Ensure quality of project interventions in mobilization, participatory action planning, implementing activities (including construction activities), Social, environmental and gender compliance monitoring, and find out gap between target verses achievement
∎ Coordinate with LAC and field level for MIS data collection and management as well senior level
∎ Prepare monthly and periodic monitoring reports, impact and evaluation report with observation, local communication, knowledge management and recommendations, and submit to HO, respective staff and other relevant stakeholders. Different types of reports prepare, local communication, knowledge management and dissemination (both quantitative and qualitative)
∎ Identify and document case studies on significant success or failure as well as on programmatic learning and good practices
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a national or international development organization at an equivalent position.
∎ Experience working with projects related to urban development or climate change will be an added advantage
∎ Knowledge in GIS, its application in project activity monitoring and visualization of spatial data
∎ Up to date knowledge Climate Change Adaptation, Urban Development, disaster management, resilient livelihood, women empowerment, community organizing and social mobilization, rights based approach, gender, good governance, access to information, SDGs
∎ Sound knowledge and understanding of M&E concepts and tools
∎ Knowledge of programme/project cycle management and development
∎ Knowledge of qualitative monitoring and sampling system.
∎ Excellent strategic thinking, decision making and problem solving
∎ Excellent Communication, documentation and analytical skills
