∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Coordinator (PC) will have overall operational and management responsibility in achieving the goal and strategic objectives of Championing Play Project and will serve as its primary spokesperson.
∎ S/he will consult with the Program Director/Assistant Director of SKS Foundation, Project Focal of Save the Children, Bangladesh Country Office for Management and Technical Assistance.
∎ The PC will manage the implementation of all program/components/activities and guide the entire project staffs to execute their respective responsibilities.
∎ S/he will work closely with stakeholders within the community across the working area for smooth operation and ownership building of project activities by ensuring program quality.
∎ S/he will have to build and keep collaboration & networking with relevant govt. departments, local government officials and NGOs working for or interested in child development and learning.
∎ The position holder will be responsible for exploring opportunities to create innovations in project implementation and maintain quality of program deliveries.
∎ S/he will be responsible for ensuring required financial, administrative, procurement and logistics management to implement the project activities smoothly and to achieve the goals and objectives of the project.
∎ S/he will also work intensively to address gender, inclusion of marginalized children and safeguarding within program areas.
∎ Collecting and sharing field update of the situation of children and community during natural disasters like flood, river erosion etc. is also an important responsibility to address children's wellbeing and development.
∎ The PC will also be responsible for project related progress reports and event reports and strictly maintain the deadline of the reporting.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

∎ Having at least 8 years of working experiences including minimum 04 years in management/ supervisory/leadership position.
∎ S/he is expected to have sound knowledge on Bangladesh rural context, particularly in char and flood prone areas.
∎ S/he should have excellent skills in program planning, leading, quality implementation, coordinating, interpersonal communication, problem solving & decision making, time management, monitoring, supervision, staff management.
∎ Proficiency in English (oral & written), presentation, documentation & reporting.
∎ Hands on knowledge on financial & administrative management for program operations. S/he should have experience in multi discipline team approach, non-discriminatory & gender sensitive, open, transparent, accountable, and positive attitude.
∎ Experience of working with multi sectoral and integrated programming related to children and community development through system strengthening approach.
∎ Understanding on child development, quality basic education, child safeguarding and child protection, issues in rural context of Bangladesh.
∎ Experience in leading & managing field-level activities including large volume materials distribution among stakeholder, local cable network, stakeholders' engagement and collaboration at district, upazila and union level.
∎ Motorcycle driving skills with valid driving license is mandatory for this position

Salary: Tk. 58008 (Monthly)
