Responsibilities & Context
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and service providers.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
Handle purchasing activities, including sourcing, collecting quotations, preparing comparative statements, and processing purchase orders.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchase requirements and ensure timely procurement.
Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, product quality, and payment-related matters.
Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers, new products, and cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, quotations, supplier agreements, and procurement records.
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and approval requirements.
Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure smooth coordination throughout the procurement process.
Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
