Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Represent BRAC in field coordination forums for the HCMP, ISCG (Inter Sector Coordination Group), and liaise with national and local authorities, INGOs and other Sectors.
∎ Ensure to developing design and architectural plans as per the needs pledged by the Donors
∎ Contribute and assist the Sector Lead-Shelter for plan, design, management, supervision and implementation of Shelter and Site Improvement activities.
∎ Regular Field Visit for identifying the sites having need for further fabrication, modification and
∎ Maintaining proper file management for further and future reference
∎ Keep and maintain regular tracking and updates on shelter and site improvement interventions/activities including other sectors shelter activities.
∎ Ensure the timely completion of all type of infrastructure of HCMP and report to all concern with close collaboration of line manager.
∎ Need assessment of different structure on the basis of beneficiaries / users demand and need.
∎ Develop advanced visualization and analysis to communicate with different stakeholders
∎ Assist to collect different document/journals related to Shelter and NFI for team and synthesize as well as submit to line manager.
∎ Develop some relevant Visual Aid/materials/presentation
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ BRAC’s values and mission, development sector, global development scenario to identify funding trends, financial and grants management, donor agencies, basic computer knowledge on MS office applications.
∎ Budgeting, communication, researching, writing, monitoring and evaluating, auditing, project management, project implementation
∎ Facilitating group meetings, managing timelines, oral and written fluency in both Bangla and English, handling critical issues with relevant stakeholders
