Responsibilities & Context
Supervise daily accounting operations, maintain accurate books of accounts, and prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
Maintain project-wise accounts and monitor land acquisition costs, construction expenses, and overall project profitability.
Verify contractor bills, supplier invoices, work orders, and project expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved budgets.
Monitor flat sales collections, customer instalments, outstanding dues, booking cancellations, and refunds.
Manage cash flow forecasting, banking transactions, fund utilization, and working capital requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable Bangladesh VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and NBR regulations.
Prepare annual budgets, project budgets, budget-versus-actual reports, and financial performance analyses.
Establish effective internal controls, verify payment documentation, and coordinate internal and external audits.
Supervise the Accounts & Finance team and coordinate with Construction, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, HR & Admin, and Legal departments.
Ensure effective use of accounting software/ERP systems, improve financial reporting procedures, and provide timely financial analysis to management.
