Medical Technologist (Flow Cytometry)

• Diploma in Medical Technology in Laboratory Medicine
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Laboratory Medicine

• Relevant professional registration or certification, where applicable.

• Practical knowledge of flow cytometry techniques and laboratory procedures.

• Familiarity with instrument maintenance and quality control.

• Experience in flow cytometry is preferred.

• Candidates with practical experience in hematology, immunophenotyping, sample preparation, and laboratory quality control will receive preference.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform flow cytometry tests according to established laboratory protocols.

• Handle sample preparation, staining, cell processing, and instrument operation.

• Perform immunophenotyping and related hematological investigations as applicable.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot flow cytometry analyzers.

• Ensure quality control, calibration, and accuracy of test results.

• Maintain proper documentation, test records, and laboratory safety standards.

• Follow SOPs, biosafety guidelines, and quality assurance procedures.

• Coordinate with laboratory physicians and other team members for smooth laboratory operations.
