Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Science, or a related field. An individual with significant experience may be able to negotiate the academic requirement.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years of experience in development and administration of database systems (relational databases or other).
∎ Experience of working in a humanitarian/recovery context is a plus.
∎ Knowledge of managing data security, including data encryption, user and group management, views, and security modes.
∎ Experience in roll out of information management tools, including delivery of user trainings.
∎ Ability to produce well-written technical documentation.
∎ Solid background in use of Microsoft Office software package (MS Excel advanced).
∎ Knowledge of GIS and tools/software for GIS data management is required.
∎ Experience with data analysis and visualization solutions such as MS Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau is required. Knowledge of MS Power BI suite is an advantage.
∎ Expertise and hands on experience with web applications developed using ASP.Net, MVC framework, C#, including deployment of web applications using IIS, glassfish, etc.
∎ Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server database (Version 2012 R2 or later).
∎ Be able to use API to support simple data migration admin and data management capacity.
∎ Background with CRM systems, e.g. MS Dynamics, Salesforce CRM, will be an advantage.
∎ Experience with web Applications, in particular Javascript / Typescript, HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs, familiarity with the Angular Framework, and familiarity with PHP and Javascript (Node.js) is a plus.

∎ Business : An estimated 905,000 Rohingya refugees currently reside in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh, over 700,000 of whom fled extreme violence in Myanmar in late 2017. They reside in refugee camps, which are among the most congested camps in the world, with limited access to basic services, including adequate sanitation, healthcare, livelihoods and education.
The refugees have put an immense strain on the Bangladeshi`s living in Cox`s Bazar, however, despite the challenges, the Bangladeshi communities were the first to respond when the Rohingya arrived and generously continue to host the refugees, and many of the local communities are now also in need of support.
NRC has been present in Bangladesh since 2016, working through partnerships with local NGO`s. We have since scaled up our presence in Bangladesh, obtaining legal registration in November 2018, allowing us to better respond to the Rohingya influx. Alongside our partners, we provide assistance to refugees and local communities through Education programming and Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) activities.
