Position: Optometrist
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and visual acuity tests.
- Perform objective and subjective refraction.
- Identify refractive errors, including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia.
- Measure intraocular pressure (IOP) and assist with preliminary eye disease screening.
- Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, including auto-refractometers.
- Identify suspected eye diseases and refer patients to specialist ophthalmologists.
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient assessments, surgical screening and follow-up.
- Participate in free eye camps and community outreach programmes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality patient care
