Professional membership/registration with the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) is mandatory.

Minimum 3 to 6 years of active experience in structural design engineering, specifically focusing on deep foundation systems, heavy civil structures, high-rise buildings, or industrial infrastructure projects.
Proven experience working in a structural consultancy firm or the Technical/Design Support wing of a leading building materials manufacturer (e.g., Cement, Steel, or Precast Concrete Industry).
Strong proficiency in foundation engineering software (ETABS, SAFE, AutoCad, Plaxis).
In-depth understanding of the centrifugal spinning process, prestressed concrete mechanics, and high-tensile steel wire behaviors.
Expert ability to interpret complex geotechnical data and translate it into dynamic structural designs.
Responsibilities & Context
Client Design Consultation & Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients' structural engineering consultants, architects, and project managers. Review their building plans and structural parameters to provide optimized PHC piling options.
Foundation Conversion & Value Engineering: Analyze conventional piling layouts (e.g., cast-in-situ bored piles) and convert them into high-efficiency Bashundhara PHC Spun Pile designs, demonstrating cost-effectiveness, time savings, and load-bearing performance.
Geotechnical & Structural Evaluation: Interpret soil test reports (geotechnical investigations), calculate pile load capacities (axial, lateral, and tension capabilities), and verify pile settlement tolerances in accordance with the BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code) and relevant international standards (such as ASTM or JIS).
Design & Analysis Modeling: Perform complex deep foundation analyses, pile group layouts, and pile cap designs using industry-standard engineering software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD. Pro, Plaxis, or GeoStudio).
Technical Presentations & Trust Building: Conduct high-level technical presentations for external structural designers and government authorities to justify the safety, crack resistance, and bending capacity of Bashundhara PHC Piles under varying environmental conditions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Sales Head to convert high-value commercial, real estate, and infrastructure leads by resolving clients' technical hesitations. Provide the factory production team with precise client design specifications.
